Collectible Treasures

Collectible Treasures Antique and Collectibles was originally

started as a personal website, with an online catalog added,

to find new homes for antiques and collectibles, that I acquired

thru both my parents estate, and my grandmother's. I worked

five years on the site, and did quite a bit of selling of many of the

items that I had available. I enjoyed doing that tremendously,

and then in 2007 my husband died, and I just didn't have the

heart to continue working with my site, or my catalog. Now

after 3 years of trying to deal with the loss of my husband, I have

returned to my site to review it, and to see where I might now take

it. It is still linked with many of the interests I had in antiques and collectibles, I am in the process of working in my catalog again,

and I have now brought my catalog back online.

I am just starting again, and have many items yet to add to the

catalog, this will take some time as I am updating the images,

this website, and the catalog, but do browse what I have added

this far, and bookmark my site for further viewing for newly added

items. I have many unique and one-of-a-kind treasures to once

again offer, so please come again to see what treasures are

being offered in the near coming future, as I am attempting to

add new items to the catalog on a weekly basis.

A few items which might be of interest to the art collector's,

which I have now within my online catalog are beautiful and

unique art work done by artist's such as:

C. Willis, Canal At Haarlem by Springer, Dino Massaroni,

J.L. Peyton's The Old Willows, Sylvia Satara Myer's God's Promise,

Karl Neumann, Jim Daly, Mary Jo Pittman,

Huey J. Theus-School Days, and Huey J. Theus-The Old Home Place,

Richard Hinger Owl Print, Jim Hansel's Sky Dancer, and

Jim Hansel's The Sentinel, F. Massa's Splendor of Nature,

and more as time allows to add to the catalog.

I have also added lovely Asian, Oriental, Japanese items which

are listed in the catalog as Categories, so that I could add

additonal photographs of each individual item for you to view.

Lovely Asian Wall Art, such as:

Japanese Ceremonial Tea Cup and Saucer Set in a Black

Lacquer and Gold Trimmed Handpainted Design, which I have

Included 15 individual photographs of the set and one cup that

I have included as a little extra since it is the only "odd" cup

that I have of such item's. Each piece of the Tea Cup and

Saucer Set are Handpainted and even though they have the

same design and theme, there is just a little difference in

each so I wanted to include individual photo's for you to view,

of this lovely little set of 6, with only 4 spoons to the set.

I have also included in the catalog, as a Category, so that

I could allow for additional photographs of the item a

beautiful signed black lacquer and gold folding table top

or doll Japanese Screen. It is very pretty, and make's a

striking display. It has very fine hand detailed carving in

it's designing and is signed in a Japanese? by the artist

or maker.

Another category of only one item again for the additional

photographs of the item, is the Oriental Geisha Dolls, or

Shadow Box Geisha doll's, in a very finely detailing of

the face and hands of each doll. Actually I don't know if

they would be called Dolls, for they are I think possibly

flat on the back, like a wall hanging would be, but they

are of a fine porcelain or bisque material I am sure. Each

are signed by the artist or maker's. They are lovely and

are being sold as a set, I have found these very hard to

find anywhere such as I have.

Another category of only one I created to add the

additonal photographs of the item for you to view,

is a beautiful Oriental Large 4-Pc Wall Hanging, each

have a carved design of a different type of "vase" and

additonal little deco items along each of them. Very

nice and they take up a large space of wall.

There are more beautiful items which have been added

recently to the catalog. I hope you browse thur it and

come again to visit, as I still have many lovely items

to include in the online catalog.

I will be exploring different avenues and different things that I can

redo my site that will offer hopefully interesting things for any who

may find their way here, as well.

I hope that all who drop by will browse the many pages that I have

left, and come again later to see what I have added. Of course this

will take time, so I appreciate everyone's understanding. Drop me

Our old inventory included a large variety of collectibles and

antiques from the past such as, estate jewelry, bracelets, rings, necklaces and pendants, pins and brooches, men and womens

vintage watches, earrings, pearl necklaces, pins, and brooches,

Mens vintage cufflinks and collectible belt buckles. McDonald

Beanie Babies, dolls, pottery, glassware and vintage art, as well

as a large variety of unique collectible treasures.

A personal note: My husband encouraged me greatly, and gave

me full support in the developing of both my website pages, and

the online catalog. He very much enjoyed the work that I had

accomplished, all on my own in the developing of this website,

and working in the many different software programs I had to

learn, and when it was all in the final stages, he enjoyed as

much as I did, hearing of the unique stories of the many

friends and customers I had acquired thru my 7 years online.

I will miss him by my side as I attempt to once again start

working online and finding a home for the unique treasures

that I have to offer. Especially the times he had dinner ready

for me after spending many hours online each day. In the

memory of his pleasure of my accomplishment with my

website and catalog, I attempt to once again, do what I

love, and that is finding a home for the many treasures of

the past that meant something special to those that had

previously owned them. There is always a story behind

each of them.
