Collectible Treasures Antique and Collectibles was originally
started as a personal website, with an online catalog added,
to find new homes for antiques and collectibles, that I acquired
thru both my parents estate, and my grandmother's. I worked
five years on the site, and did quite a bit of selling of many of
the items that I had available. I enjoyed doing that
tremendously, and then in 2007 my husband died, and I just
didn't have the heart to continue working with my site, or my
catalog. So now after 2 years of trying to deal with the loss
of my husband, I have returned to my site to review it, and to
see where I might now take it. It is still linked with many of
the interests I had in antiques and collectibles, but I am not
offering an online catalog of items to sell, at this time. But
maybe in the future I will once again offer items for sell.
I will be exploring different avenues and different things that I
can redo my site that will offer hopefully interesting things for
any who may find their way here. I hope that all who drop by
will browse the many pages that I have left, and come again
later to see what I have added. Of course this will take time,
so I appreciate everyone's understanding. Drop me a line if
you wish, and any suggestions you might have for me. I
would love hearing from you.
You can still research your antique and collectible items
from within the website's "items we have sold" links. Thank
you for being patient with us during our change over, and
especially for your stopping by and visiting us, and to all
our customers both past and hopefully future we appreciate
you very much.
Below we have photo's of family and our fishing adventures at
Brigdoon. You are welcome to continue visiting with us.
My husbands Mother, Irene with Billy (left), her youngest son, and my husband's little brother, although grown now.
This is at my husband's family reunion last year. Mom passed away right after my husband came home in Jan. from the hospital, and she
will be missed this year at the re-union, as well as loved and thought
of often. She was a strong woman, alot like my grandmother, and enjoyed life and doing things, kept busy all the time, and was one
of the best cooks I know of. I loved her potatoe salad...!
Hannah, our Son Willy's youngest daughter. Olivia, our Son Willy's oldest daughter. Hannah and Olivia, our Son Willy's Daughters.a fish, and impress me and her Papa, at Brigadoon Resort.
Our Grandson Micah, getting his fishing rod ready to join his sister Melinda, and hoping to catch a bigger fish than her today, at Brigadoon Resort...
the day. She out-fished me by far on this day at Brigadoon Resort,
and was loving it..! As for me, I was trying to take it as gently as the waves..!
Me, I still can't bring myself to actually touch that worm and do all
that is necessary to get it onto the hook. Ugh..!
Update: My brother Mike, passed away last Jan, 2009. I miss him
very much, and will always love him. He was my baby brother, and
we were close. He was a very special friend to me as well as my
little brother.
My brother Jimmy (above right) with his Son Benjamin (above left), visiting us at Brigadoon Resort. Jimmy is my older brother, although
I am the oldest child of our parents. We had a brother who would be
two years to the date, older than me, but he sadly passed away at
about the age of six. Jimmy is special as well as my brother Mike.
We are family.
Nicole, ( I call Nikki ), our first grand daughter, and special indeed. She is going on 16 here. She is a beautiful young lady, with
a wonderful personality, and growing up..! Our Nikkie will celebrate
her eigthteenth birthday this August 2005. My how time flies, and
how fast they grow up! Nicole will also be blessing us with our very
first great-grandchild in Feb. 2006. Nik is now 21! Her baby
Autumn, my first great-grandchild just turned 4, Feb. 7, 2010!
Our Son-in-law, Ray. He is quite active in school activities, and coaches teams, as well as Ann. He enjoys working with
children, and loves his famiy. He takes his Father-in-law in good
stride, and does all he can to help if possible, when we need him.
He did us a wonderful thing by spreading 11 tons of small gravel in
our fenced in back yard for our little Diamond Eye and Sapphire
Lady's family. He wouldn't count the loads he took to the back yard,
but he did the whole back yard within 3 hours! It is a fairly large
section we have fenced off for our Jack Russell Terriers, and
we were thrilled at the difference it made in our yard, as well as
our Sun Room, when our little family came in from outside. No
more mud to clean up..!
Everytime I look out to our back yard I think of him doing this for us,
and how much nicer the yard looks as well as cleans easier.!
Thank you dearest Son-in-law, we love you much for the help and
hard work you have done for us, as well as the money you saved us. And your patience was wonderful, dealing with your father-in-law's detailed instructions as you worked..! We are quiteproud of him also. He's a good guy..!
Linda Parker, (me) at the family re-union last year. There's not many photo's of me really, as I do most of the picture taking in our family. Here I am just sitting and watching the other family members enjoying each others company.
children.
My brother Jimmy (left) and Mike (right), a good many years ago..! I believe this was in the mid 60's. Both played guitars,
here in this picture Mike is the entertainer. Jimmy is holding Daddy's little dog. I thought this picture was a cutie.
I haven't seen him in little over two years, so I can't tell much about
this little guy.
I hope you have enjoyed browsing our About Page, and viewing the pictures of our family. I have enjoyed sharing this with you.
