Autumn Danielle Kessell ( Our Very First Great Grandchild )
Birth Date: 2/7/2006
Time: 4:50 am
Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz.
Lenght: 20 in.
![]() Below is a picture of me ( the great-grandmother! ) of our very first
great grandchild, Autumn Danielle Kessell. Nicole Danielle Kessell
( our very first grandchild ) now 18 years old, gave birth to her little
Autumn on Feb. 7, 2006. She just missed my husbands birthday,
by 4 days, and our grand-daughters Hannah's birthday, by 3 days.
She had induced labor, and was placed in the hospital on my
husbands birthday, but it was over or at 24 hours before she
gave birth, and then it was by c-section.
The photo below of me is not quite as nice looking as I would like
to add here, but hey after that length of time going back and forth
from the hospital, and the stress of the time it took before they
finally decided to do a c-section on Nik, well to say the least, I
look pretty good.
Nik's ( her nik name ), mother, ( our daughter Ann ), the Mama
and very proud to be, I might add, of little Autumn, did not
leave her daughter's side the whole time thru it all. She was
even with Nik thru the c-section and held up really good with
it all.
They are now home, and doing fine, and my daughter Ann, is
naturally helping her daughter Nicole with her newborn,
little Autumn.
She is precious and we are proud and thankful that little Autumn
and her mother Nicole is doing well. We are now the proud
Great Grandparents of Autumn Danielle Kessell.
![]() Little Autumns' Pooh Room
The below picture is of a design of Pooh and his friends, that Nik's
Aunt Dalene drew on her bedroom wall, and painted, especially for
Nik, since she love's everything Pooh! Nik's mother Ann helped
with some of the painting, she did Tiger and I think a little of Pooh.
I forgot how many leaves she said it took to complete the look on
the tree and Piglet's sweeping broom. Autumn's name is on the
far left of the wall, which I did not get in the photo below, and
the design goes to the far right as well which is also not within
this picture.
Dalene is a wonderful artist, and her Pooh drawing for Nik was
just in time for Autumn's arrival!
![]() My daughter Ann, Nik's mother, absolutely reminds me of when she
was expecting Nik. The thrill seeing her experience her first grand
child is like re-living my experience with our darling Nik. Nik was our
first grandchild for over 6 years, then the other grandchildren started
arriving, and we now have 7 lovely grandchildren, and of course our
first Great Grandchild by Nik. How beautiful it all is.
I will try to get a photo of Nik and Autumn together, her first few
days after the c-section, she was kept pretty well sedated, and her
mother did get a picture of them together the first day, but I have
not got a copy of it yet. I will also place a picture of my daugher
with Autumn as well.
I hope you have enjoyed browsing our About Page, and viewing the pictures of our family. I have enjoyed sharing this with you.
