Original John Groth Paintings, Set of 4-Painting FOUR
 Original John Groth Water Colors, Set of Four, 1961
Dated: 1961 Winchester Western
Description Follows:
This beautiful set of Four (4) water colors by well know
artist, John Groth, for Winchester Western, each painting
dated 1961, is being Sold as A SET. The certificate that
comes with the set of 4 paintings Has:
The Grand American Trapshooting Tournament,
Four Original Water Colors for Winchester Western
by John Groth.....
Each are 11 x 14, and have been placed in a frame for
viewing. The certificate has not been placed in a frame.
The size of the certificate is, 7 and 1/2 x 6 inches.
There is a small tear at the right side of the certificate
measuring about 1/4 of an inch, and does not go into
the Print of the Certificate. As this is an original set of
paintings by the well known artist John Groth,
they will be sold as a set, and not separated.
Each painting is signed by the artist and at the very
bottom left of the paintings the words:
Winchester Western, 1961 is also on each painting.
 Painting Four (4), and is of a out-door scene.
It is signed John Groth, and has Firing Range also signed
by the artist above his signature.
Painting (3) , a Sports Scene. It is signed, John Groth
and has other writing above his signature by him, but
is in the sandy area of the print and I cannot make out
the complete writing, but it does look to have Sentinal
or similar to that, within that writing.
Painting number (2), and is of a out-door scene.
It is signed John Groth, and has ( what looks to be:
Vanduran? I cannot make out the exact letters in this
word) travel camp ) also signed by the artist.
Painting one (1), and has Winchester Western on the
building. It is signed, John Groth.
The certificate that comes with the set of the four
original paintings by John Groth, reads:
The Grand American Trapshooting Tournament,
Four Original Water Colors for Winchester Western,
by John Groth.
An original set, with Certificate, paintings are in
excellent condition. Certificate has minor small tear
at the right side of the certificate measuring about
1/4 of an inch, and does not go into the
Print of the Certificate.
