This is a really nice motorhome, we have enjoyed for 2 years.  We will miss it once it
is sold, but we no longer need this large of a motorhome to travel in, and as we now
have a family of 5 Jack Russell Terriers our traveling will be limited.  I have drove it
a few times a short distance from our home.  It handles really well, drives like an
automatic car would, however it is much larger naturally, and you don't want to get
into really tight turns or where you would have to back it up in a small space, as it
is as big as a transfer truck, maybe not as long, but 33 foot is quite long when having
to turn it in a tight turn.  It is roomy inside, and I do love the extra privacy the layout
of the design has.  That comes in really handy when there are more than just the
husband present!

My husband can give all the details of the motorhome, I just tend to the cleaning of it,
the placing of supplies when we are getting ready to go somewhere, and when it comes
to the driving of it, I prefer to leave that to him on trips anyways,  but when I do drive
it, all I want to know is how much gas it has, and how much room on the road I have!

Update: Sept.'07  ** My husband Dale passed away Feb. 6th, '07.  **
If interested please call: 865-898-8429 ask for Dale, and he will give any information
you may request about the motorhome.
Or send email to, see our : Contact Info page for email address.

Note: We live in the area close to Knoxville, Tennessee, and if purchased the new owner
will need to come to pick it up.  We won't be able to deliver it, remember we have 5 Jack Russell Terriers to care for!

Oh only 2 out of the 5 of the Jack Russell Terriers have been in the motorhome when we were camping or on a trip.  They are the mamma and Daddy, Diamond Eye and Sapphire Lady, and they both were and are house trained.  This motorhome was smoked in when
we purchased it, and as I smoke cigerettes, it has been smoked in since we got it.  So if
you are looking for a motorhome that has not ever been smoked in, and one that has
never had pets in, this motorhome would not fullfill that requirement.

UPDATE: April 2006
We just returned a couple of weeks ago from a trip to Hudson, Fl.  to visit with family
there.  The trip was over 1200 miles there and back.  We had no problems at all with the motorhome.  This was the first time we had taken it on the road for that distance since we
bought it.  So now we can say that it handled well, and made the long trip there and back
with no problems what ever.

We took 2 vehicles, my van, my daughter with her group of 6 took her van, and our son
and his group of  5 rode in the motorhome.  We had a total of  14 people on this trip to
Florida, both our grown children, and all of our grandchildren and our little newborn first
great grand-daughter little Autumn.  We stayed overnight at motels both going and coming
home, as 14 including the newborn was a little too many to expect our motorhome to accommadate!  But when we got to Florida, our daughter stayed in a mobile home provided
by her Uncle Abby, and our Son was to camp out in his tent.  However when we got there he
had forgotten his stakes, and it was a little too chilly yet to be camping tent wise out of a
night, so we had me and my husband, ( we naturally stayed in our back bedroom ), but our
son and his wife and one teenage daughter, with a little 4 year old and 10 year old stayed in
our front room.  Let's see that was 5 up front and me and my husband in the back for a total
of  7 ( the other teen grand-daughter stayed in the mobile home with her cousins ).  So we
can say that the motorhome sleeps at least 7 and we could have included the other
grand-daughter if needed, but she prefered to spend the nights with her cousins, and play
with little Autumn.

It was a little crowded come meal times, but we managed fine.  And we had three of our little
Jack Russell Terriers with us as well.  Diamond Eye, the daddy, Saffy the mommy, and little Shortcake, my husbands baby.  They stayed out in my husbands brother's fenced in yard,
playing most the time, and other than Saffy and Shortcake having to get used to the
traveling part, they all did fine.

Remember they are all house-broken and there were no accidents by them in the motorhome.
They rode in their cages the whole trip there and back, actually on the way back they were put
in my van so Saffy could see and hear me and calm down from the riding.  She did much better coming back than going, as we had them in the motorhome on the way there, and was a little more nervous because I think she couldn't be near me, as I was in the my van following the motorhome.

We chose not to pull our vehicle in case we needed  it for any emergency.  But thankfully all
went well, we had a safe trip, enjoyed the ocean views, and the visit with our family in Florida,
and for the first time we had both our children with us and all the grand children, along with
our new first great grand baby.  That was the most enjoyable part, having them all with us, but needless to say, I was glad to get back home!  I missed our two boys Little Diamond and
Diamond Duke that we had to leave at home.  Our wonderful neighbor came over in the
mornings and at night for the 12 days that we were gone, and checked them regularly for  us,
as well as let them in and out during the day. They were fine, thrilled that we were back home
with them, about as much as I was.

It got 13 gallons to a mile on gas, which was pretty good for this size
motorhome.  Handled exceptionally well even in 6 heavy lanes of traffic thur Atantla and
another area close to Macon.  Our son took over the driving about 3 hours into the trip, and
my husband drove the van.  My son loved driving the motorhome, and I must say he drove it
like a pro!  We did eventually get in front of him, to lead the little caravan, as he tended to go
a little faster than I liked!  Now you will call me a little old lady, but I enjoyed staying at
around 55 to 60 mph.  We didn't feel the wind as much and it was more relaxing.  I must say
we did get passed by alot!  My son on the other hand wanted to go the 70 and 75 speed limits,
and had a hard time getting use to my snail pace as he called it.  We stopped oh my the first
day, we half the trip in two days going and three coming back, but on the first day out, with
that many children, and a baby, we stopped about every 2 to 3 hours.  Yet surprisingly we did
really well on time, even going what my son called a snail's pace, and stopping that frequently.  The first night spend over, was near Macon, or a little ways on the other side of Atlanta.
When we got out of the heavy traffic flow.  So we took two days traveling to Hudson and even
at that by the time we arrived there the second day it was well near 9 pm.  A long trip there.

The trip on the way back was somewhat faster or so it seemed. Yet we still went my preferred
speed, to my son's disappointment!  We still had the frequent stops, and was well near Chattanooga when we stopped over for the second night.  We could have come on in home,
but it was another 2 to 3 hours and we were tired, so we stopped, but since we were so close to
home, and she was wanting to go on in, our daughter and her little group left us behind at that
point and went on in home.  We kept in touch by cell phone till she arrived safely at home.
She did real good and made the trip on home within about 2 and 1/2 hours.

The next day it took about 3 hours maybe a little over for us to pull in to our home.  Oh how
good it looked, and how happy I was to see our boys were ok.  The trip was fine, a good thing
to do with family, but the old saying, There's no place like home, was very true for me.

Everyone unloaded their items, ( it took me over 5 days to empty out everything within the
motorhome, and get it cleaned out, mainly because I had to find a place to put everything I
took out of the motorhome somewhere either in our house or the garage!.  We had a little
larger item brought back and that was the little riding cart my husband's sister gave him, so
that he could go to large flea market, or stores, and have his own riding cart.  That was nice
of her.  He has yet to take it to either of those places, but he did get it out and ride it up the
road a good distance!  It should come in handy though, and they even gave him the carrier
for it which we hooked to the back of our motorhome to bring it back with us.  This will
be taken off the motorhome when it is sold, it does not go with the sell of the motorhome.

I plan to add to our about our family pages when time permits, some of our photographs of
the trip to Florida, so come visit us again and I hope you have enjoyed this little extra tid
bit on our use of our motorhome.
