More About Our Family 2
Collectible Treasures Antique and Collectibles was originally
started as a personal website, with an online catalog added,
to find new homes for antiques and collectibles, that I acquired
thru both my parents estate, and my grandmother's. I worked
five years on the site, and did quite a bit of selling of many of
the items that I had available. I enjoyed doing that
tremendously, and then in 2007 my husband died, and I just
didn't have the heart to continue working with my site, or my
catalog. So now after 2 years of trying to deal with the loss
of my husband, I have returned to my site to review it, and to
see where I might now take it. It is still linked with many of
the interests I had in antiques and collectibles, but I am not
offering an online catalog of items to sell, at this time. But
maybe in the future I will once again offer items for sell.
I will be exploring different avenues and different things that I
can redo my site that will offer hopefully interesting things for
any who may find their way here. I hope that all who drop by
will browse the many pages that I have left, and come again
later to see what I have added. Of course this will take time,
so I appreciate everyone's understanding. Drop me a line if
you wish, and any suggestions you might have for me. I
would love hearing from you.
You can still research your antique and collectible items
from within the website's "items we have sold" links. Thank
you for being patient with us during our change over, and
especially for your stopping by and visiting us, and to all
our customers both past and hopefully future we appreciate
you very much.
Below we have photo's of family and our fishing adventures
at Brigdoon. You are welcome to continue visiting with us.
Windrock Mountain Area. I was born on top of Windrock Mountain, this May 2005 will be 55 years ago.

Me and my wonderful husband, Dale, of which I call Buddy, ( I can still say this after 40 years of marriage with
this man.!). He has recovered from open heart surgery
beautifully, and is full of energy and life. Loves every minute
and wants to do eveything he can, and enjoy life to its
fullest..!
My Husband, with his catch of the day.! This is at beautiful Brigadoon Resort where we love to spend our
week-ends.
A pretty good Catch! This fellow bite a nite-crawler while we were fishing at our campsite at Brigadoon Resort. I do love to
catch them, but hate to bait the hook, hubby does that for me.!
We don't eat them, we throw them back in the water to hopefully continue to grow.
My parents, how dear to me. My father, Carter E. Bolden, a wonderful man, and a wonderful father as well as
one of the most loving husbands I know of. He loved my
mother with a love that amazed me. He worked at Windrock
Mines till it went non-union, became an electrician, and was
with the I.B.E.W. till he retired. Served his country in a 4
year war, in World War II, supported his family unselfishly
all his life, and believed in God and his word. He was a
strong man, a quietly loving man, and my Daddy. I miss him,
but I will always love him, and keep precious memories of
him with me, as well as my Mother, who has always been
Mommy to me, no matter how old I became, I didn't know
her as Mom, she was and is still Mommy to me. I miss her
also, and will always be thankful for the parents God blessed
me with.
My husband Dale, (Buddy to me) and his mother Irene. This picture was taken quite a few years
ago. Mom was watching her son working on his car.
Mom came down from Indiana with all her sisters, to
visit us one summer. What a fun time we had that year
with them. Watching the "Sister" was like looking back
in time. You could imagine the fun times they had when
they were children. They were a wonderful to see together.
I am the only daughter of my parents, and I seemed to always
wish for a sister to share things with. After I married, because
I so admire her, and like her, I always wanted to think of Bud's
sister as being my sister also. She would be a wonderful sister
to have.
I hope you have enjoyed browsing our About Page, and

this with you. If you would like you may continue visiting
